NIJI RYU CAMP 2002
Niji Ryu Honbu Dojo recently organized
a 10 days sport summer camp for the advanced students. Number of participants
was limited at total of 20, including trainers. Camp's goal was of recreationally
educated character, with possibility of passing higher rank exams.
Niji Ryu's camp was placed at the height
of 375 meters above the sea level, which was ideal for training. Abundance
of clear water, sunny weather, woods, peace and surrounding with no
civilization give an additional reason for similar projects in the future.
Ten days on Fruska Gora mountain in budo spirit were also valuable
life and sport experience.
A camping day schedule included
3 mandatory classes, mountaineering, wood-walking, swimming in the lake,
and other sport activities. Of course, there was lots of barbecuing and
fun for all.
We were supported by curious audience,
even in the woods. Neighbor campers were visiting our training regularly,
and some of them even participated.
All classes were ran by
Milojevic Miroslav sensei, head of Niji Ryu. We also had one assistant
instructor, Igor Pavlovic sensei, Karate Jutsu instructor from Serbian
Budo Council (SBC). Our dear guest from SBC Honbu Dojo helped us in preparing
new future Niji Ryu Kumite champions.
